These images are so beautiful and poetic, and also inventive and evocative. The brilliant autumn light becomes a character along with the objects; the asemic writing gives the whole a look of a mysterious archeological find. I especially love the first object with its numbered shadow.
I keep coming back to these images on your site. I didn't want to respond too soon because I didn't want to say something quickly and then move on. But, now I know what I feel. These are without a doubt the most compelling still life images I have seen in a long long time. They could be Leonardo's private library shelf.
