I see the resemblance to the Medieval square notes from an Antiphonal. But then it could also be a graph of certain trends, rising and falling and rising again.
This score card absolutely needs to be surrounded by red. Danger ahead? Laughter meter? Rainfall calculator? Applause meter? Electronic device to measure voltage? Heat index?
Who knows? It's wonderful because of the not-knowing.
Reminds me a lot of childhood and a favourite aunt/uncle unit's player piano equipped basement. "Ain't She Sweet" and "Roll Out The Barrel" rock my ancient mind. Thanks for this!
